Duties include attend special education meetings, provide supervision to special education assistants as needed, complete paperwork as required by MN 3rd Party Billing guidelines, document health assessments for special education and other duties as assigned. * This position will be traveling to multiple schools each week. * Revise health services staff with absences, including covering absences as needed. * Oversee AED&#8217;s in assigned buildings. * Oversee and manage MIIC and immunizations for assigned buildings. * Onboard and train new health services staff in assigned buildings. * Assist and plan professional development on district designated days. * Check in with center based classrooms weekly for health needs, classroom support, or necessary training. * Partner with Vaccine Clinics, Screenings, Community Schools, and other community partnerships available. * Partner with Post Secondary Institutions for opportunities to build relationships, offer opportunities for students to learn and engage in RAS (Ramassen students) * Other tasks as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), current MN Registered Nurse (RN) license, certified Public Health Nurse (PHN) and current MN School Nurse licensure (LSN) from the Board of Education. If not currently licensed as a school nurse, the individual will be required to apply for and obtain a school nurse license.
