Under the direction of a building administrator and guidance of licensed staff, the early childhood paraprofessional will support staff and students in classroom routines and developmentally appropriate student tasks. Qualifications/Degree: * High School Diploma/GED * Previous experience working with children preferred * 2-year degree or a passing score on the Para Pro test preferred Special Job Requirements: * Position requires the ability to run, bend, stoop, kneel, work on feet, lift up to 40 lbs for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations * Position involves listening, speaking clearly, and visual acuity Beginning Salary Range: Rate of pay starting at $17.00/hour as per Stewartville United Educator&#8217;s Master Agreement. Starting pay rate increases depending upon prior experience. Benefits: Our benefits package is available for employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week.
