Not just students who are "advanced" or "high ability," EVERY STUDENT. *Class sizes are 20 students in K-2 and 25 students in 3-5. The Position: STEP Academy Is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Elementary Teacher for grades K-5. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a love for learning, promoting academic growth, and supporting the social and emotional development of young children. The Elementary Teacher will be responsible for creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment, providing engaging instruction in all core subjects, and helping students build the foundational skills they need for future academic success. Preferred Qualifications: Elementary teaching license (MN) Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds Experience working with ELL populations Cultural competence. Minimum Qualifications: Any teaching license and willingness to obtain an out of area designation Bachelor's degree, ability to obtain a Tier 1 or 2 teaching license, and willingness to work toward a higher tier teaching license An understanding, experience, and/or passion for working with elementary school students.
