Description: Early Childhood teaching opportunity at Harley Hopkins Family Center serving special education students ages Birth through 3 years of age and 3 years to 5 years of age. This is a year round position that works a total of 185 days within the dates needed. Qualifications: Early Childhood Special Education license required. This position works with infants aged birth through 2 typically in a home setting. This candidate needs to have strong teaching and consultation skills in working with team members, staff in other settings, and with families. Person develops and implements IEP/IFSP goals and objectives within the home setting. Teacher has strong communication skills, strong passion and commitment to work with students from diverse cultures and economic backgrounds. Teacher has strong assessment skills in determining eligibility for ECSE services and for ongoing assessments of student progress. Teacher has a data collection system for tracking student progress. Teacher has an understanding of service coordination with other service providers and is knowledgeable about community resources to support families and students. Education and Experience: Bachelor&#8217;s degree in education or a closely related field. Required Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Continued employment is contingent upon maintaining all required licenses and certificates in active status without suspension or revocation. Driver&#8217;s license. Valid Minnesota Teaching License. Required Skills: * Creating and administering individualized lesson plans. * Interpreting and applying state and Federal statutes, codes, rules, and regulations. * Assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects, and demands. * Operating a personal computer using standard and specialized software. * Communicating effectively verbally and in writing. * Contributing effectively to the accomplishment of team or work unit goals, objectives, and activities. * Commitment to the District's mission, which is to ensure high-quality, innovative, challenging education where all learners are valued and respected. * Performing assigned responsibilities in a manner consistent with the District&#8217;s established Core Values. * Advancing the District&#8217;s mission and values through careful attention to the key issues of Learning, Environment, and Resources. PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Description:
Early Childhood teaching opportunity at Harley Hopkins Family Center serving special education students ages Birth through 3 years of age and 3 years to 5 years of age. This is a year round position that works a total of 185 days within the dates needed.

Early Childhood Special Education license required. This position works with infants aged birth through 2 typically in a home setting. This candidate needs to have strong teaching and consultation skills in working with team members, staff in other settings, and with families. Teacher has strong communication skills, strong passion and commitment to work with students from diverse cultures and economic backgrounds. Education and Experience:
 
Bachelor’s degree in education or a closely related field.
 
Required Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

SUB - Approx. 56 days: 8hr days/40 hours per week.
