Aitkin High School is in need of a One Act Play Director for the 2025-26 school year. The position will oversee the One Act Play activities district-wide and be in charge of the development of the overall program. This position will serve the students in our Middle/Senior High School (Grades 7-12).
The Director position will start in Flex hours for rehearsals at the Aitkin Auditorium for 4-5 months and running late October to mid February.
The Aitkin Independent School District #1 believes that a dynamic program of student activities is vital to the educational development of all students, providing experiences that promote the physical, mental, social, and emotional development of all participants
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Head One Act Play Director is responsible for all aspects of the One Act Program and will oversee performance, rehearsals, practices, and set designs.
* Promote and develop a program that builds relationships with all HS programs and encourages involvement with other programs
* Fulfill responsibilities of a Head Director in accordance with MSHSL training and guidelines and in accordance with program values as directed by the Activities Director
* Previous experience preferred
