Are you a hands-on, inquiry-driven educator who loves blending science with creativity? Do you believe students learn best when they’re building, designing, and experimenting? At Art & Science Academy (ASA), we’re looking for a passionate K-8 Science/STEAM Teacher to lead our students in bold scientific discovery and interdisciplinary learning.

�� What You'll Do:

  • Plan and teach engaging lessons aligned with the Minnesota State Science and Art Standards

  • Infuse lessons with real-world applications, project-based learning, and STEAM integration

  • Create hands-on labs, engineering challenges, and cross-curricular experiments

  • Evaluate and support student progress through assessments and collaborative team planning

  • Communicate regularly with families and colleagues to support student success

  • Utilize classroom management practices like Catalyst or Responsive Classroom (training provided)

  • Collaborate with special education, Title I, and Reading Corps staff

  • Contribute to a dynamic, interdisciplinary learning community where science meets creativity

�� Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Elementary, K-8 Art, and/or Middle School Science teaching license
    (or ability to obtain a Tier I or II license before start date)

  • Familiarity with makerspaces, robotics, coding, or engineering principles

Art & Science Academy (ASA) is a public K–8 charter school with two campuses located in Isanti, MN—just 45 minutes north of the Twin Cities. ASA was founded in 2014 with a mission to integrate the arts and sciences into all content areas and foster a community of lifelong learners.
