Why Mentor with LDA Minnesota?

As a mentor, you will play a crucial role in preparing future special educators in our PELSB-approved Academic & Behavioral Strategist (ABS) licensure program. Our program integrates mentors into its framework, fostering meaningful relationships with teacher candidates as they complete their two-year program and earn their ABS licensure.

Mentor Benefits:

●       Paid Position: Earn $2400 per year for each mentee ($1200 per semester). You may mentor up to two candidates.

●       Professional Development: Access continuing education hours and earn Mentoring and Cultural Competence badging and certification.
