1st Grade Teacher – St. Croix Preparatory Academy
 
Position is 1.0 FTE, starting the 2025-2026 school year - IMMEDIATE opening
 
Second Grade instruction includes:
  • Core Knowledge Sequence curriculum
  • RIGGS
Required Qualifications:
  • Valid MN Elementary Ed. License (K-6)
Preferred but not Required Qualifications:
  • Previous experience teaching fourth grade
  • Experience with,
  • A classical model of education or a liberal arts college education
  • Background in teaching Core Knowledge Sequence
  • Implementation of Literacy Strategies across curriculum areas
  • Paideia or Socratic Seminar/Discussion methods
  • PLC groups/Q comp programs K-12 for continuous programming
Annual compensation ranges from $44,428-$65,847, depending upon years of teaching experience. This position is eligible for benefits. Our current Benefits Guide (attached) details the employer-sponsored benefits available at St. Croix Prep.
