St. Wenceslaus Catholic School is a vibrant Pre-K through 8th grade community located in the heart of rural Minnesota. Our primary focus is to provide a nurturing, faith-based educational experience for children while fostering a strong sense of community, spirit, and values. We are seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join our dedicated staff. This position includes teaching music to students in Preschool through 8th grade, directing and accompanying seasonal all-school concerts, supporting our annual school play, and serving as the music director for school liturgies while assisting teachers in preparing students for participation in student-led Masses. In addition to the music program, the teacher will collaborate with colleagues to provide student support, including remediation and enrichment opportunities within the general education setting. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about building a love of music in children, committed to Catholic education, and eager to contribute to the warm, close-knit atmosphere of our rural school community.

Qualifications
BS or BA in Education
Current Minnesota Teaching License in area of employment or compatible skill in speciality area.
Competence in instructional methods and knowledge of subject matter assigned to teach
Evidence of good classroom management techniques
Ability to work cooperatively and maintain collegial atmosphere in and out of classroom
Knowledgeable and supportive of St. Wenceslaus School mission and philosophy
Ability to demonstrate and willingness to learn technology skills as the position demands
Annual professional development as requested by principal and by oneself
