Opening - Houston Public Schools–Summit Learning Center–Special Education Teacher–Long-Term Substitute

Houston Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher Long-Term Substitute at Summit Learning Center.  Summit Learning Center is an Alternative Learning Program that is designed to meet individual student learning needs.  Our Special Education Team focuses on ensuring the best educational experience for all students.  

Summit Learning Center is located in Houston, MN.

The position is approximately January 12th-April 3rd.

The preferred candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Current or eligible for licensure as a special education teacher in Minnesota

• Experience with co-teaching and collaboration with general education teachers

• Student-centered mindset with a focus on collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and community agencies.
