Park Rapids Area Century School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Education Teacher for Kindergarten to join our team at Century Lower Elementary School. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment for students in Kindergarten, encouraging their academic, social, and emotional growth. The teacher will implement a dynamic curriculum that promotes critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration while adhering to state educational standards.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including tests, assignments, and observations.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student learning and address individual needs.
- Utilize technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance the learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
- Manage classroom behavior and implement effective discipline strategies.
- Organize and participate in school events, including parent-teacher conferences and community outreach activities.
- Support students'' social and emotional well-being by promoting a positive classroom culture.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification for elementary education in Minnesota.
- Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Passion for education and commitment to student success.
- Previous teaching experience in an elementary setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- Must pass a background check as required by school district policies.

Salary range; $42,480-$80,984
