Long Term Substitute - Middle School Special Education

Job Summary:

The Middle School Special Education Teacher provides individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in grades 6–8. This role involves developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), adapting curriculum to meet a variety of learning styles, and collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to foster an inclusive learning environment. The teacher uses evidence-based instructional strategies, progress monitoring, and behavioral supports to promote academic growth, social development, and independence. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential to ensure all students reach their full potential.

Duration of Assignment:

January 5 - March 27, 2026

Compensation Range:

• Starting Salary $239.19/Day
