Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED and passed ParaPro/Para Educator testing (or 60 college credits) required.
A successful background check is required.

Prefer experience working with adults.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Patience, flexibility, confidentiality, teamwork, self-starter, takes direction easily, excellent communication skills, behavior management skills, assist in the classroom and at job sites.

Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self-discipline, and honesty. 

Specific Tasks:
Work with students throughout the day assisting with learning skills for daily living and obtaining a job. Work cooperatively with case managers to guide students at their individual levels. Work to increase independence in students for the future. Other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher. See the job description for additional information.

Hours Per Day:
6.5 hours/day
As per contract
