NOTICE OF POSITION OPENING
DISTRICT ASSESSMENT COORDINATOR
Eden Prairie School District is seeking applicants to serve as our Assessment Coordinator. The district assessment coordinator is responsible for coordinating local, state, and national assessments in alignment with laws and policies related to assessment practices. The coordinator provides support to site assessment coordinators, district administrators, staff, students, and families. Positioned within the Department of Learning Analytics, Data, and Reporting, this position works closely with a team of data analysts and state reporting specialists.
Eden Prairie is a school district with 1,400 employees, serving approximately 9,000 students. The district is recognized for its quality initiatives and its leadership in educational programming.
Position Requirements:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- ?Two-year degree or post-secondary training required in assessment systems, data migration or project management
Experience:
- Preferred two years or more working in an education system.
- Experience in assessment, data analysis, and data-informed decision making.
- Expertise in data migration, data import/export, manual file transfer, data reconciliation, and/or data integration
- Demonstrated abilities in project management and reporting
- Background in vendor relationship management and contract oversight
- Experience coordinating or managing district, state, or federal data reporting processes.
Qualifications:
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience completing multiple projects for multiple audiences simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and/or the Google Suite equivalent.
- Ability to coordinate vendor relationships and oversee contracts related to assessment.
- ?Ability to work with and advocate for diverse groups and/or individuals.

Salary and Benefit Overview:
| Salary | EPSS Level III |
| Vacation | 20 days a year |
