North Elementary School in St. Peter, MN, is seeking a dedicated Long-Term Reading Intervention Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student learning and literacy development. This position has the possibility of permanent employment.
Responsibilities:
Implementing structured literacy interventions and strategies to support student growth in reading comprehension, fluency, and phonics.
Collaborating with classroom teachers and literacy specialists to ensure alignment with curriculum objectives and student needs.
Monitoring student progress through ongoing assessment and data analysis to adjust instructional strategies effectively.
Maintaining communication with parents/guardians and school staff regarding student performance and intervention progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
Valid teaching license or substitute teaching permit issued by the State of Minnesota.
Experience with literacy phonics programs such as UFLI, or similar.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with a passion for supporting student success.
Pay Range: $33.02 - $41.73 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
