Carlton Public School District is searching for a Secondary School Counselor/Social Worker, 1.0 FTE, to join the team at Carlton MS/HS beginning January 5, 2026.

Job Summary:
Assume all responsibilities of being a 7-12 School Counselor/Social Worker. This position works primarily with 7-12 students providing academic, social and emotional support, academic recovery options, and guidance through graduation and post-secondary exploration options. 

Qualifications:

·         MN Licensure in School Counseling K-12, Psychology, School Social Work, or willing to pursue the proper licensure.

·         Previous experience at the secondary level preferred but not required.

·         Strong interest in academic guidance, small group and individual counseling.

·         Effective communication skills.

Working Conditions: 
Classroom, office, lifting, sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, keyboarding, etc.
