**Position: 1st Grade General Studies Teacher** This is a long-term substitute position from January until June with a potential to be hired permanently for the 26-27 school year.
Torah Academy, a growing K-8 private school in the Twin Cities with an 80-year history of delivering quality education, is hiring a 1st Grade General Studies Teacher who is dedicated to nurturing academic and social-emotional growth in students. We pride ourselves on small class sizes, strong parent partnerships, and a caring, professional staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach core subjects including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies
- Create a positive and structured classroom environment
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Communicate regularly with parents and staff
- Participate in school events and professional learning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Elementary teaching license preferred
- Prior experience in elementary classrooms
- Enthusiastic and team-oriented
