Building Substitute Teacher, 1.0 FTE – Southland Public Schools

Southland Public Schools in Adams, MN is looking to hire a Full-Time Building Substitute Teacher. 

Applicants must hold a valid teaching or substitute license through PELSB or be in the process of obtaining one.

This substitute teacher position will be compensated with a BA Step 1 in accordance with Education Minnesota Southland (EMS) contract.

 

The Building Substitute Teacher shall be assigned on a daily basis to fulfill instructional responsibilities in the absence of certified educators or paraprofessionals, or to provide administrative support within the school office. Final determinations regarding daily assignments will be made by District Administration, based on staffing needs and operational priorities.

The Southland School District serves six communities in southeastern Minnesota and is home to approximately 500 students. Our district is staffed by a team of highly qualified educators and has a diverse selection of elective courses. We take pride in our strong, supportive community that values and prioritizes education. All students in grades K–12 attend classes on a single, centralized campus located in Adams, Minnesota.
