About Becker District/School:
Becker School District is conveniently located off of US Hwy 10, just 20 minutes SE from St. Cloud and 45 minutes NW from the Twin Cities. The District consists of five buildings, all situated on a single, cohesive campus and serves approximately 2,800 students - Early Education Building, Primary School (K-2), Intermediate School (3-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12). LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE for Grade 6 Language Arts Teacher from March 16, 2026 - June 3, 2026. Seeking a dedicated and dynamic Long Term Substitute to join our team at the middle school. Becker Middle School is a grades 6-8 building.

Key Responsibilities:
Long Term Substitute will be responsible to carry out the responsibilities required as a long term sub working with 6th grade students in Language Arts. There are two language arts teachers for each grade level.
Collaborate with colleagues to carry out Multi-tiered System of Supports. Maintain accurate records of students’ grades and attendance. Practice and carry out rules and procedures as defined by the Becker Area School District. Participate in staff in-service, staff meetings, department work, committee work, conference nights, etc. Communicate in a positive way to develop rapport with learners and treat them with respect.

Salary:  BA Lane plus years of experience ($47,998 - $68,910).

Requirements/Licensure:
Hold or be eligible to obtain a Minnesota teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement
Possess a high level of organizational and communication skills. Knowledgeable computer user; familiarity with Student Information Systems. Solid classroom management skills based on current research practices.
