Looking for a way to make a difference in the lives of students?  Apply to be an Paraprofessional Substitute.  The candidate hired for this position will provide assistance to students and support for teachers in the implementation of daily lesson plans and activities. 
   
Position: Educational Associate Special Education- Substitute
Location: Highlands Elementary
Rate of Pay: The hourly wage for this position is  $23.00 per hour.
Benefits:
  • This is a temporary/casual position. Eligible employees will participate in the state’s largest pension program, the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA).
  • Leave benefits will be applied in accordance with Minnesota law.
Daily Schedule:8 am - 2:30 pm 
Days per year:Temporary

Qualifications Required / Preferred:		Required:
  • Associate degree, at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (a minimum of 60 semester credits)

 Preferred:
  •  Experience working with students
  •  Experience working with diverse student populations
  •  Strong communication skills
