Region 1 is currently hiring for a Student Data – Regional MARSS Support representative located in Moorhead, MN.

One of the current challenges facing many school districts throughout the state of MN are the evolving and increasing number of reporting requirements. These state-mandated reports play a pivotal role in school districts securing their state funding. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analytical troubleshooting & solving puzzles.

We are in the process of revamping our State Reporting support team to assist our school district partnerships with various reporting requirements including:

• Minnesota Automated Reporting Student System (MARSS)                          
• Minnesota Common Course Catalogue (MCCC)                                  
• Early Education Enrollment 

We are looking for someone with a working knowledge of the Minnesota Education system. This role is primarily focused on customer service with a goal of aiding our districts with their student data. Other responsibilities include:

• Keeping up to date with changes in state reporting requirements
• Communicating & collaborating with district partners via phone, email, in-person meetings & trainings, as well as conference/presentations to both small & large groups
• Creating training materials to aid district personnel in understanding key state reporting requirements

This is primarily an in-office position, although there will be some travel involved to school districts throughout the state of Minnesota. This position does have the opportunity for Hybrid Work available upon completion of training period and with sufficient experience.

Region 1 is the software hosting entity for the North Star Library Consortium, featuring the Destiny Library for Manager application. Region 1 is also the fiscal host for NW LINKS, providing wide area network services to school districts and public libraries in northwestern Minnesota.

Compensation:

• $60,000 – $70,000 DOE
• PTO, Paid Holidays, paid leave options
• Health, Dental, HSA, PERA & additional voluntary benefit options

Location:

• Moorhead, MN (potential for Hybrid-Work based upon experience)

Hours:

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00am – 4:30pm
