SUBSTANCE USE PREVENTION EDUCATOR OPENING:
Minnewaska Area Schools has a full-time, grant-funded Substance Use Prevention Educator position available beginning January 13, 2026 (start date flexible). Hours are 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend activities. This position is funded through the Opioid Prevention Grant in partnership with Horizon Public Health and Pope County. A bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Youth Development, Human Services, or a related field is required, or enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program with an associate’s degree in a youth-related field. Experience working with youth is required.
