The Benson Public School’s main office is located in Benson, Minnesota. The school district has an approximate enrollment of 770 pre-kindergarten through grade twelve students.

LEADERSHIP PROFILE: The Benson Public School Board seeks a superintendent with proven leadership experience who:
- Leads with honesty integrity, and by consistently demonstrating ethical behavior in every interaction with students, staff, families, and the wider community
- Promotes a collaborative environment by empowering team members, assigning responsibilities appropriately, supporting their professional development, and ensuring accountability for outcomes
- Articulates ideas thoughtfully and effectively, tailoring communication style to connect with varied groups; encourages constructive, respective conversations among all members of the school community
- Proactively promotes and facilitates business and community involvement to enrich school programs and strengthen partnerships
- Is actively engaged and visible within the school and broader community; stays approachable and available to students, staff, families, and partners
Brings a solid background in school financial management, including responsible resource allocation and thorough fiscal oversight to maintain financial health and transparency
Previous superintendent experience preferred, but not required.
SALARY/CONTRACT: A competitive compensation and benefits package, with a starting salary range of $130,000 - $160,000, will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications. Contract length is negotiable as provided in Minnesota statute. Additional benefits available may include Health and Life insurance, 403(b) match, and more.
