Program Description:
Our Elementary Level Summer Learning Adventure Program is designed for our rising 1st - 5th grade students to provide an extra boost for success moving into the upcoming school year. Each week of the 5-week program will be an active and engaging experience centered around a theme for students to explore. Speakers, games, and field trips will be integrated into each week. In addition, students will receive math, literacy, and creative play to support becoming a more confident learner!
Pay Rate $21.34/hr.
Position Description:
Several Summer School Para''s needed for K – 5 for the Summer Learning Adventures program at Sun Path Elementary.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Working with the classroom teacher to provide student academic and behavior support
* Working with the program coordinator to provide student arrival, lunch, and departure supervision.
Dates/Times:
Monday - Thursday
July 6th through August 6th.
Student contact time 7:45 AM - 1:15 PM.
Job Summary:
Support staff in the elementary setting will be working with classroom teachers and supporting student needs within the classroom. Lunch and recess duties are also included.
Qualifications:
Position requires a H.S. diploma.
Prefer some previous experience in working with elementary students.
Working Conditions:
Classroom, lifting up to 50 pounds, pulling, standing, sitting
