Position Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Chisholm Public Schoolsis seeking a caring, organized, and dependable Long-Term Substitute Teacher for a second grade classroom. The successful candidate will provide high-quality instruction and maintain a positive learning environment during a teacher''s extended absence, ensuring continuity for students during the assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Implement Grade 2 curriculum and lesson plans aligned with district standards
• Create a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback as appropriate
• Collaborate with grade-level teachers, specialists, and support staff
• Communicate effectively with families as directed by administration
• Follow school and district policies, procedures, and expectations
• Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal
  
   

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota teaching license or current Minnesota substitute teaching license
• Elementary or primary teaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to support the academic, social, and emotional needs of second grade students
• Dependable and professional work ethic
