We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and be committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum, ensuring the well-being of each child, and collaborating with parents to support their child''s growth and development. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to infants? developmental stages, including literacy education and early intervention strategies Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants Plan and execute lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns regarding child welfare Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or staff members to ensure high-quality care and educational standards Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health standards, and safety protocols at all times Utilize communication skills effectively to foster strong relationships with children, parents, and team members Support inclusive practices such as special education needs or childhood development programs when applicable Requirements Licensed as an LPN or RN -or- meet one of the credentialing and corresponding experience requirements outlined in MN Rule 9503.0032. Proven experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management is essential.
