The Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) teacher is responsible for providing specialized instruction and services. This is a full-time 1.00 FTE position for the 26-27 school year. Qualifications: Must possess or be eligible for an Early Childhood Special Education teaching license in the State of Minnesota Knowledge of IDEA, Minnesota Special Education rules, and early childhood development. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Key Responsibilities Provide developmentally appropriate instruction based on individual needs in areas such as communication, cognitive, motor, social-emotional, and adaptive skills. Develop and implement effective IFSPs and IEPs that address each child?s unique needs Utilize evidence-based practices and assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction and services as needed Partner with families to support children?s development, including conducting home visits if required Assist in coordination of Special Education Assessments Work collaboratively with related service providers (e.g., occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists) Service as a resource for general education staff, paraprofessionals, and community agencies. Maintain accurate records, including assessment data, progress reports, and other required documentation for compliance purposes Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment tailored to meet the needs of young learners with disabilities.
