We are seeking Elementary Teachers to join our elementary team for the 26-27 school year. We are hiring for 4th Grade and anticipate openings at other grade levels. The qualified applicant will hold a MN Teaching license in Elementary Education. At CPA, Responsive Classroom is implemented across all elementary classrooms. If you have not taken RC training, we will support you in implementing these strategies. We also implement the PeaceBuilders program school wide. Your Mentor teacher will assist you in implementing PeaceBuilders. New teachers have a mentor as well as regular support from an instructional coach. Responsibilities and Skills Required: Have a strong understanding of the Minnesota Academic Standards for 2nd Grade across content areas Facilitate instruction, evaluate and assess student progress against instructional outcomes and objectives Possess the ability to develop rapport with young learners of diverse backgrounds Work cooperatively with individuals and teams Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication with staff, students, and parents Demonstrate an unyielding commitment to helping all students attain high academic and ethical standards of performance Community of Peace Academy uses the applicant tracking system from Frontline Education to manage employment applications online
