The Superintendent will oversee all district operations, ensure academic excellence, and foster a positive and inclusive school culture. This requirement ensures that candidates possess the necessary credentials and qualifications to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of the position and comply with state regulations. Eligibility Considerations Candidates may not be eligible for licensure in Minnesota if they: ? Lack the necessary educational qualifications, such as a master?s degree or higher in educational administration, leadership, or a related field. ? Have not completed a state-approved administrative licensure program or its equivalent. ? Do not meet Minnesota?s required years of teaching or educational leadership experience. ? Have unresolved licensure issues in other states, including disciplinary actions or revocations. ? Are unable to pass required background checks or provide the necessary documentation for licensure application. ? Do not meet the reciprocity requirements if they are licensed in another state.
