Position Title: Home-based SPED Teacher for High School Student FLSA Status : Exempt FTE : 5-10 hours per week for instruction and prep time . Start Date: March 30, 2026 Job Summary : Provide virtual and or in-person instruction to a high school student that receives special education services in a home-based setting. Collaborate with district staff to plan lessons, provide instruction and assess learning. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Provide both virtual and/or in-person academic support for a student that is receiving home-based services. Monitor student progress in assigned course work and special education goal areas and report progress to parents, general education teachers and administration. With input from general education teachers, select and prepare educational activities for courses and create a weekly lesson plan of activities aligned to district and state outcomes. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : Supervises students.
