The District consists of four buildings, all situated on a single, cohesive campus and serves approximately 2,800 students - Primary School (K-2), Intermediate School (3-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12). Position Summary: Becker Primary School is currently seeking a Long Term Substitute Kindergarten Teacher to join our team from 4/19/26 to 6/3/26 school year. We are looking for applicants who are passionate about fostering a learning environment where all students can thrive. As a Kindergarten Teacher, we encourage a focus on motivating students to achieve their maximum potential. Responsibilities: Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials. Translate lesson plans into meaningful learning experiences, integrating subject area content and technology. Instruct students in specified subject matter, adapting teaching materials and methods to meet the needs of diverse learners. Assess, identify, and evaluate the needs of students, providing instruction in individual or group sessions while maintaining standards of behavior. Evaluate student progress, maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports. Communicate effectively with students, families through conferences and other means. Stay current with professional development through in-service education and self-selected professional books and instructional materials. Qualifications: Minnesota Elementary Teaching Licensure Preference given to someone already Trained in the Science of Reading- LETRS: Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (Lexia) Familiarity with school and district rules, regulations, and procedures. Strong judgment and decision-making skills. Essential Skills Required: Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, and families.
