Naytahwaush Community Charter School Student personal care may include: assisting students with dressing, personal hygiene, physical management; administering medication and medical needs under direction of school nurse; performing student transfer/mobility and mobility assistance; providing bathroom assistance and toileting of students. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years experience working with children, preferably children with disabilities or AA degree with 1 year of experience working with children Personal Care Assistant certification (can be completed upon hire) Strong reading, writing and math skills Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to work in a team environment Ability to relate to students including those with disabilities Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information at all times Starting wage @ $18.50 - $20.50 Monday through Friday 8 hour shift Benefits; 401(k), Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off Join our team of dedicated educators and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with special needs.
