Position : Assessment Coordinator / Due Process Teacher - 1.0 FTE Start Date: August 24, 2026 (or as negotiated) Location: District Wide Virginia and Eveleth, MN Position Overview: Supports district-wide compliance, evaluation processes, due process procedures, and leads MTSS systems across all grade levels. Required Qualifications: Valid Minnesota Special Education License Minimum 3 Years Experience Knowledge of IDEA, MN Rule 3525, MTSS, and evaluation processes Salary and Benefits: $47,598 - $90,420 (Pay and benefits follow the Education Minnesota Rock Ridge Local #7394 Collective Bargaining Agreement - available at www.rrps.org.) Additional 20 days contracted time with flexible schedule. Pay will be at salary hourly rate of pay. Essential Duties: Coordinate evaluations and ensure timelines Monitor special education teachers'' due process paperwork and provide mntoring and coaching support Complete due process special education paperwork for non-licensed Setting 4 staff Support and assist non-licensed special education teachers in completing due process paperwork including PWNs, evaluation repors, and IEP documentation Administer academic assessments including Woodcock-Johnson Achievement and other standardized assesments Collaborate closely with the school psychologist on evaluations and eligibility determinations Lead MTSS systems Support Setting 4 compliance and non-licensed staff oversight Review IEP''s and evaluation reports Provide staff training and support Perform other duties as assigned Application Process: Please include a letter of interest, resume, licensure, and references with your application.
