The Sauk Rapids-Rice Public School District No. 47 is seeking a highly effective Instructional Technology Coach to support teachers in designing and delivering high-quality, standards-aligned instruction that leverages technology to improve student learning. This role prioritizes instructional practices over tools, using evidence-based strategies to guide coaching, professional learning, and classroom implementation.
The coach also leads district efforts to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) in ways that are ethical, effective, and aligned to instructional goals.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Instructional Coaching
- Provide job-embedded coaching focused on instructional technology
- Co-plan, model, observe, and provide feedback to teachers
- Support student-centered, high-impact instructional practices
- Provide district- and building-level professional development
- Instructional technology integration
- Support effective use of:
- Schoology
- Seesaw
- Apple iPad (K–8) and Apple MacBook Air (9–12)
- Newline Interactive Panel
- Ensure technology use enhances instruction, assessment, and feedback
- Support Apple Accessibility tools for teacher and student success
- Support with the distribution and collection of devices
- iPad innovation
- Assist in shifting classroom use from productivity to creation
- AI integration
- Lead development of district guidance for AI in teaching and learning
- Provide professional learning on ethical and effective AI use
- Support teachers in using AI to differentiate instruction, provide feedback, and design learning experiences
- Professional learning & collaboration
- Collaborate with instructional coaches, administrators, and technology staff
- Support the onboarding and mentoring of new teachers in our school district

Required Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license or relevant experience and willingness to seek a license with special permission from PELSB
- Bachelor''s Degree in relevant subject area
- Minimum 5-years of successful teaching experience
- Strong understanding of effective instructional practices and standards alignment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with:
- Apple devices
Contract:
1.0 FTE, 182 contract days plus 5 extra days for a total of 187 days beginning the 2026-2027 school year.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary based on the 2025-2027 Sauk Rapids-Rice Education Associations Master Agreement starting at $52,166 up to $97,326.
Benefits based on full-time employment and may be pro-rated for part-time positions. Benefits may include the following:
