Position Summary: Join a robust music program in ISD 761 that has a long history of excellence! This position is to provide orchestra lessons at the four elementary schools for students in grades 4-5. Responsibilities include building a lesson schedule following school schedules during approved timeslots; collaboration with building principals, coaches, and the Director of Teaching and Learning is part of this work. In addition to developing beginning orchestra students, this position will conduct orchestra concerts twice a year. This position also entails managing the recruitment of future orchestra students. Position Requirements: - Valid MN Classroom Music and Orchestra Teaching licenses . - Student-Centered - Commitment and belief around ensuring all students learn at high levels . - Demonstrated use of research-based instructional and engagement strategies to meet the continuum of individual learning needs while using data and assessments to guide instructional decisions. - Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students to achieve student learning results. Salary: Based on candidates'' education and experience per the OEA Master Agreement.
