The Cyber Village Academy (CVA) Board of Directors is seeking an Executive Director to serve as the school''s primary leader, driving strategic, instructional, and operational excellence. This role demands a visionary and ethical collaborator who will partner with the governing board to steward public resources and advance our mission. We are looking for a leader dedicated to fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement to ensure exceptional outcomes for every student. CVA is a public K?12 charter school offering flexible, personalized learning through both online and in-person programming. Qualifications & Leadership Competencies Candidates must demonstrate success in the following areas: Strategic Innovation: Demonstrated success navigating complex challenges by setting and executing a clear, forward-thinking vision; ensuring long-term sustainability through innovative enrollment strategies and program development. Ethical Governance: History of sound judgment and ethical leadership, fostering a culture of transparency with boards and school communities; serving as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors and authorizer; and ensuring full compliance with all charter, legal, and reporting requirements. Financial Stewardship: Comprehensive experience in fiscal oversight, safeguarding long-term institutional health through strategic resource allocation. Demonstrated strength in budget management and financial planning, with clear impact on organizational sustainability. Organizational Leadership: Track record of empowering teams through meaningful delegation and the establishment of clear roles, systems, and performance metrics. Instructional Leadership & Culture: Experience partnering with school leadership to champion a high-achieving, inclusive culture; overseeing academic innovation and student discipline in accordance with Minnesota law, and the strategic alignment of school policies and handbooks. Inclusive Collaboration: Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion, with a track record of building strong, trust-based partnerships across diverse communities. Strategic Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly convey sensitive or complex information to varied audiences. Education & Licensure Master?s degree or higher in Education (required) K-12 Principal or Superintendent license (strongly preferred). Standards Must adhere to the Minnesota Code of Ethics for Administrators. Background Proven success in school management, program development, and strategic oversight. Previous experience as a K-12 executive director or superintendent is preferred. Compensation: $70,000 ? $115,000 (full-time equivalent), prorated based on FTE and experience. Position: Full-time preferred; FTE flexibility may be considered based on candidate and organizational needs. Education & Licensure

  • Master’s degree or higher in Education (required)
  • K-12 Principal or Superintendent license (strongly preferred).

  • Previous experience as a K-12 executive director or superintendent is preferred.
