Who you are: You have great communication skills. You are able to develop relationships with teachers, students and parents. You?re patient and are able to work with children of different abilities and backgrounds. You are resourceful and are able to assist those with different learning styles. A day in the life: As a teacher you?ll help develop the classroom environment; you?ll plan and implement daily activities and assessments; you?ll observe and record child development and behaviors; and you?ll work side-by-side with a teacher?s assistant, an aide and volunteers in the classroom. Qualifications: Associate''s or bachelor''s degree in early childhood education, or a related field, with early childhood teaching experience. You must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP?s values of collaboration, innovation, and compassion for those we serve. Applicants must pass a DHS Background Study and meet DHS & MN Rule 3 licensing requirements. Full-time, 40 hours/week, 10-month school year (mid-August through May) Wage with Associate''s Degree: $20.95 - $29.32/hr; With Bachelor''s Degree: $23.98 - $33.57/hr.
