LOCATION: District Wide Tri-City United Schools serves the communities of Le Center, Lonsdale, & Montgomery STARTING DATE: 2026-2027 school year, first day of new teacher workshop is August 25, 2026 SALARY: $45,500-$75,125 based on qualifications and years of experience BENEFITS: Insurance, retirement, and paid time off REPORTS TO: Director of Special Services DATE OF POSTING: 03/27/2026 LICENSURE: Appropriate PELSB License in School Psychology QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS: - Conduct comprehensive special education evaluations - Interpret assessment data and clearly communicate results to IEP teams and families - Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determination and program planning - Support the development of appropriate interventions, accommodations, and behavior plans - Collaborate with general and special education staff to support student success - Serve as a district resource on special education compliance, procedural safeguards, and due process requirements - Review IEPs, evaluation reports, and documentation for legal compliance and quality assurance - Coach case managers and administrators on best practices in IEP development, service delivery, and documentation - Provide training and professional development to staff on compliance, timelines, and defensible practices WHY TCU: This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative school district with a forward-thinking vision.
