Job Summary
Holdingford Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and visionary educational leader to serve as
Superintendent of Schools. The Superintendent will oversee all district operations, ensure
academic excellence, and foster a positive and inclusive school culture. This role requires a
strategic thinker with a passion for education and a commitment to student success.
Reports To: School Board
Compensation: $132,000 or more, based on experience, plus benefits

Administrative Licensure Requirement
Candidates must currently hold or be eligible to obtain administrative licensure in the State of
Minnesota as a condition of employment. This requirement ensures that candidates possess thenecessary credentials and qualifications to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of the position
and comply with state regulations.
Eligibility Considerations
Candidates may not be eligible for licensure in Minnesota if they:
● Lack the necessary educational qualifications, such as a master’s degree or higher in
educational administration, leadership, or a related field.
● Have not completed a state-approved administrative licensure program or an equivalent
preparation pathway.
● Do not meet Minnesota’s required years of teaching or educational leadership
experience.
● Have unresolved licensure issues in another state, including disciplinary actions,
suspensions, or revocations.
● Are unable to pass required background checks or provide the documentation necessary
for licensure application.
● Are unable to qualify for Minnesota administrative licensure through either standard
licensure review or the provisional licensure pathway available to some out-of-state
prepared candidates.
Applicants are encouraged to review their licensure status in advance. Qualified out-of-state
candidates may be eligible for a two-year nonrenewable provisional license in Minnesota while
completing any remaining state-specific requirements through a BOSA-approved program.
