Position: Part-Time Upper School Social Studies Teacher
Reports to: Upper School Principal
Position Overview
Marshall School is seeking a part-time grade 7-12 social studies teacher. This may become a full time position in the future.

Qualifications and Salary
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in social studies field or education or similar.
A love for teaching adolescents, a passion for social studies education, and a commitment to student-centered education.
A strong desire to work closely with students and colleagues in and out of the classroom.
Strong content knowledge, pedagogy, and the ability to teach a variety of social studies subjects.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of teaching experience
Relevant and recent successful teaching experience in a middle or high school setting.
Masters degree in a social studies field or education
Experience in an independent school

11-20 years $28,404 - $34,145/year
21-30 years $33,128 - $39,021/year
31-40 years $36,633 - $43,535/year
00-10 years $34,619 - $48,691/year
11-20 years $47,340 - $56,908/year
21-30 years $55,214 - $65,035/year
31-40 years $61,055 - $72,559/year
