Start Your Online Application Now Date of Availability: 08/16/2026 Twin Cities International Schools are currently accepting applications for a Middle School STEM/CTE Teacher position for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. This position serves students in grades 6-8, delivering a specialized curriculum focused on future-ready technologies. Position start date of August 16th, 2026. Applicants must possess a valid Minnesota teaching license prior to start date. We are a public charter school located in the North Loop of Minneapolis with a student enrollment of approximately 1,000 students (K-8.) Responsibilities/duties (Including but not limited to): Curriculum Delivery: Plan, organize, and deliver project-based lessons in core STEM areas which may include: Artifical Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Engineering, Coding and Cybersecurity; Hands-on Learning: Engage students through best-practice instructional strategies, focusing on inquiry-based learning and the engineering design process; Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Middle School team and elective department to align curriculum with MN state standards; Communication: Communicate efficitively with parents, students, and staff regarding student progress and program goals; Differentiated Instruction: Adapt technical concepts to meet the needs of diverse learners, including English-Language Learners (ELL); Lab Management: Maintain STEM lab equipment (robotics kits, hardware, etc.) and ensure a safe, organized learning environment; Assessment: Utilize standards-based instruction and common assessments to track student mastery of technical skills; Other duties as assigned. Salary is determined by experience and education, with the upcoming 2026-27 school year licensed employee salaries ranging from $47,568.18 to $85,922.88. Current Minnesota licensed Tier 3 or 4 teacher salary starts at $51,828.55. Additional salary amounts available for completed Master''s, Master''s + 60 credits, Ed.D. or Ph.D. Additional benefits are also available for full-time employees, including medical and dental benefits (optional) and include coverage of employee, employee + 1 or family. Employee is responsible for a monthly insurance premium, depending on plan and coverage selected. Life Insurance/AD&D, along with Short-term and Long-term disability coverage, is provided by TCIS. Flex spending accounts for medical or dependent care are also available, but optional. TCIS requires enrollment in TRA (Teacher''''s Retirement Association) retirement plan for all licensed employees.
