Chamberlain School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students with communication disorders and help them access their educational environment successfully. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of speech and language development, experience working with children, and a commitment to supporting student growth in communication, social interaction, and academic success. Responsibilities include: Implement speech and language therapy activities as directed by the supervising SLP Support students in individual and small group settings Assist with data collection and documentation of student progress Prepare therapy materials and maintain organized records Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student needs Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Qualifications: Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field Valid South Dakota SLPA certification or ability to obtain certification Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team The district offers a competitive pay and benefits package, along with a sign-on bonus.
