Special Job Requirements: Within federal and state law and regulations and district policy and practice: Responsible for establishing and maintaining an atmosphere conducive to learning within the classroom and assisting in doing the same throughout the building Design and execute age-appropriate, engaging educational activities for children ages 3-5 Lead and coordinate Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) programming, supporting families and children from birth to age 5 Responsible for the ongoing assessment of student progress and maintaining an atmosphere conducive to learning within the classroom and building Direct and supervise Education Support Professionals (ESPs) to ensure a collaborative and effective classroom environment Ability to perform standard classroom duties, including standing for long periods, sitting on the floor/kneeling to interact with children, and the physical stamina required for an active early childhood environment Perform additional duties as assigned by the building principal to fulfill the core functions of the position, consistent with the Master Agreement Beginning Salary Range: Per the Stewartville United Educators'' Master Agreement Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package for employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week.
