Lynd Public School Position Opening: Possible Special Education Teacher for 26-27 Lynd Public School is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Special Education Teacher to join our team. We are committed to fostering a supportive learning environment where all students are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Position Summary: The Special Education Teacher will provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. This position includes developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating with staff and families, and ensuring compliance with state and federal special education requirements. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines Provide direct instruction and support to students in individual and small group settings Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress Maintain accurate documentation and student records Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings Use data to inform instruction and support student growth Qualifications: Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (or ability to obtain) Strong knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and best practices Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a K?12 school setting Experience with a variety of disabilities and instructional strategies Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and supports Compensation & Benefits: Salary based on the negotiated master agreement Competitive benefits package including health insurance, retirement, and paid leave Application Process: Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest, resume, transcripts, and three letters of recommendation.
