Position Overview: Community Ed Summer Theater Prop Designer Hours/Day: Varies depending on theater production schedule Days/Year: 4/27/2026-7/31/2026 Compensation/benefits: $750 Job Description: The Prop Designer is responsible for the design, sourcing, and construction of all "hand-held" and decorative items that bring a production''s world to life. From the letter a lead actor reads to the vintage furniture on stage, the Props Designer ensures every item is historically accurate, functionally safe, and aesthetically aligned with the Director''s vision. Every person who will work with any theater production, whether a current employee or other, must apply AND complete ALL necessary steps set by HR PRIOR to working.
