Description:

Nevis School District is a two-section school in Northern Minnesota.  We strive to help all students reach their potential.  We have a new teacher-mentoring program to provide support for new teachers.  We encourage teachers to use the School Forest, be creative, and bring your passion and expertise to the classroom.  There are opportunities for extracurricular and coaching positions if interested.

The Nevis Public School District is seeking to fill a 1.0 FTE Grades 7-12 Mathematics teacher position starting in the fall of the 2026-2027 school year.

Compensation:

This position is a 9-month position, 180 Contracted Days 8:00-3:45.  Nevis School District has competitive salaries and benefits for its staff members.  The salary range for this position is $48,776 – $78,574.  Salary and benefits are based on current master agreement salary schedule.

·         TRA – 9.81% by District (Employee 8%)

·         Health Insurance- fully paid single with VEBA (HRA) benefit of $2,200

Required Experience:

·         Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Tier 3 or 4 MN license as Elementary Teacher

·         Exhibit a growth mindset.

·         Ability to work with a diverse student population.
