Our district values coaches who are caring adults who model ethical, caring, and empathetic behavior. We are looking for a leader who will prioritize positive interaction with student-athletes and the community, and will develop a culture of self-discipline and excellence. Job Description Provide comprehensive leadership for the entire Dance Program. The Head coach is responsible for the instruction, organization, and management of the entire team. They are also responsible for the feeder program from the youth level on up. The ideal candidate will have prior high school or collegiate coaching experience. Candidates should have a strong background in technique, training methods, and team building necessary for running a successful Dance program. Strong consideration will be given to those candidates who can demonstrate: Building a Culture of Positive Reinforcement: Practice and promote positive interactions between coaches and participants, coaches and community, and coaches and administration. Communication: Maintain articulate and timely communication with parents, staff, and administration. This includes both written and verbal communication. Leadership Development: Integrate leadership opportunities into the program.Take into consideration the feedback that is given from team leadership while building trust among the dancers and the coaching staff through leadership development.
