School Age Child Care (SACC) Program Aide

Required:
- Must be at least 15 years old to apply
- Demonstrates responsibility, reliability, and positive leadership
- Ability to work effectively with children, parents/guardians, and staff
- Attend annual training dates (June 2 & 3, 2026), complete CPR training, and fulfill other MN DYCF training requirements.
- Complete MN DCYF NetStudy background check and district background check.
Preferred: Experience with school-age children is advantageous.
Role:
- Support staff in creating a safe, positive, engaging, and inclusive childcare environment
- Build positive relationships with children and serve as a role model
- Lead and participate in games, activities, and group supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized program space
- Exhibits a positive attitude and energy
- Communicate effectively with staff and students
Duties Include:
- Support staff supervising and engaging children during activities, outdoor time, and transitions
- Support positive behavior and reinforce program expectations
- Assist with daily routines and programming, including snack, cleanup, and transitions
- Ensure child safety at all times
- Support communications between staff and families as needed
Rate of pay: $13 per hour
Hours: Part-time, Monday through Friday; shifts scheduled between 6:30 am and 6 pm.
