Move to a Program Assistant position after completing additional training. Required: Must be at least 15 years old to apply Demonstrates responsibility, reliability, and positive leadership Ability to work effectively with children, parents/guardians, and staff Attend annual training dates (June 2 & 3, 2026), complete CPR training, and fulfill other MN DYCF training requirements. Complete MN DCYF NetStudy background check and district background check. Preferred: Experience with school-age children is advantageous. Role: Support staff in creating a safe, positive, engaging, and inclusive childcare environment Build positive relationships with children and serve as a role model Lead and participate in games, activities, and group supervision Maintain a clean and organized program space Exhibits a positive attitude and energy Communicate effectively with staff and students Duties Include: Support staff supervising and engaging children during activities, outdoor time, and transitions Support positive behavior and reinforce program expectations Assist with daily routines and programming, including snack, cleanup, and transitions Ensure child safety at all times Support communications between staff and families as needed Rate of pay: $13 per hour Hours: Part-time, Monday through Friday; shifts scheduled between 6:30 am and 6 pm.
