ABOUT THIS ROLE
A Culture of Learning at HOPE is rooted in passion and a deep commitment to scholar impact. In partnership with the Chief Impact Officer (CIO) and the Executive Director/CEO, this leader ensures that high-impact behavior strategies are consistently executed across the school community. This includes leading a comprehensive behavior framework grounded in restorative practices, recognition systems, and clear, consistent expectations to drive meaningful student outcomes.
Behavior and social-emotional learning directly impact academic outcomes. All scholars should feel inspired to come to school, empowered to take ownership of their learning journey, and supported in becoming creative thinkers and contributors. The Impact Coach Manager fosters a positive, inclusive, and structured school environment—ensuring students are engaged, supported, and held to high expectations—while equipping teachers with the tools and strategies needed to implement school-wide behavior systems effectively.

School-Wide Systems of Support. Build and sustain a comprehensive, school-wide behavior system that supports academic achievement. Oversee behavior expectations and support across all environments, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, lunchrooms, outdoor spaces, buses, arrivals, dismissals, and the broader community. Lead ongoing training, coaching, and feedback for teachers on behavior strategies, restorative practices, recognition systems, and the consistent implementation of consequences.
Data-Driven Practices. Analyze behavioral and social-emotional data trends to inform decision-making, strengthen systems, and drive continuous improvement in scholar outcomes. Ensure accurate documentation and complete the annual DIRS report.
Family Impact. Develop and implement strategies that support Impact Coaches in engaging families as essential partners. Lead restorative practices that include families, ensuring they are consistently engaged as collaborators rather than used as a punitive measure.

Use these insights to strengthen relationships, increase engagement, and support scholar success. Conduct home visits for both targeted support and community-building purposes to celebrate and affirm students and families.
