Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional to support classroom teachers and help provide a positive and productive learning environment for our Special Education elementary students (grades K?6). The ideal candidate will be patient, flexible, and enthusiastic about working with young learners. Key Responsibilities: Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development under the direction of the Special Education teacher Provide one-on-one or small group support as needed Supervise students in various settings Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and families Always follow school policies and procedures Qualifications: Two years of college coursework, an associate''s degree or higher, or a passing score on a formal assessment demonstrating their ability to assist with instruction Experience working with children in an educational or care setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Passion for supporting children?s learning and development How to Apply: Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter to admin@threeriversmontessori.org
